As part of our national leadership role leading learning and improvement, we are delighted to announce the launch of a range of new whistleblowing resources that are available for NHS Boards to support the training and development of staff.
The resources have been co-produced by members of our Improvement, Standards and Engagement team, working with colleagues from NHS Highland, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS National Services Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland and Public Health Scotland.
The following resources are now available on our INWO website and include:
- A quick reference guide for managers and people receiving concerns
- A checklist for managers and people raising concerns
- A guide for HR teams on the differences between HR issues and whistleblowing
- A guide to whistleblowing for anyone who wishes to raise a concern
- A suite of materials to support training sessions for Confidential Contacts (made up of 5 case studies)
