Good Complaints Handling training registration

Welcome to SPSO’s Good Complaints Handling training course registration page.

Our Good Complaints Handling course is available as on online course aimed at staff handling complaints at stage 1 of the Model Complaints Handling Procedure (MCHP). It is for individuals to take in their own time and approximately 45 minutes long. The cost for the course is £40 per person. It includes:

  • what a complaint is and isn't
  • improving the complaint experience
  • MCHP overview
  • responses and recording
  • strategies for managing difficult behaviour, and
  • signposting to useful resources.

Please fill out and submit the registration form below and we will contact you with an invoice shortly after. Once payment has been received, you will receive your log-in details to our course via email. Your log in will only come through once payment has been received, this is not an automated process.

On completion, you will be awarded a certificate from SPSO which will be available for download. Certification will last two years. Our training is SPSO accredited. We do not endorse other external complaints handling training as full SPSO accreditation.

It is recommended that this course is best viewed on at least a tablet-sized device.
