We are currently recruiting for a Head of Improvement, Standards and Engagement.
As part of the Leadership Team (LT) reporting directly to the Ombudsman, leading the Improvement Standards and Engagement (ISE) team to:
- ensure the SPSO is values driven in all aspects of its business
- maintain the design and operation of model complaints handling in Scottish public services
- improve complaints handling by public service providers and share learning
- lead and manage the transition and integration of new areas of SPSO jurisdiction and other project work that supports consistent complaints handling and public service improvements
- oversee the development of policy, outreach and communications across all areas of SPSO’s business
- take the leadership team's lead for customer service complaints.
